Live-in care

Care that doesn’t clock off.

Frequently asked questions

Live-in care: your questions answered.

The questions families ask most about live-in care.

Does one caregiver really stay 24 hours a day?

No, that would be neither safe nor legal. Live-in care uses a supervised rotation with documented rest periods, so cover is continuous and your caregiver is always rested and alert.

Do we need to provide accommodation?

Yes. A live-in caregiver needs somewhere to rest and basic facilities in the home. Your supervisor confirms the arrangement during the assessment before service starts.

What is the minimum commitment?

Live-in engagements start at four weeks. That is what it takes to set up a stable, rested rotation and an effective daily care routine around your relative.

Is overnight cover included?

Yes, that is the point of live-in care: continuous presence including overnight, with the supervisor on call any hour for escalation if something changes.

Non-medical scope

Cleaneet caregivers do not provide nursing, prescribing, injections, IV, oxygen, wound dressing, catheter changes, restraint, diagnosis, or clinical decision-making. Medication is reminders only.
