Frequently asked questions
Post-discharge: your questions answered.
The questions families ask most about post-hospital recovery care.
How quickly can care start after discharge?
We can often place a caregiver within 24 to 48 hours of your request, and sometimes the same day for urgent discharges. The assessment runs in parallel so support does not have to wait.
Do you follow the hospital discharge instructions?
Yes. The caregiver supports the routine your clinician set, such as rest, hydration, mobility, and medication reminders, and escalates to your family and clinical team if anything looks wrong.
Is this the same as nursing care?
No. This is non-medical recovery support. We do not dress wounds, manage drips, give injections, or adjust prescriptions. We keep the daily routine steady and observed alongside your nurse or doctor.
How long does post-hospital support usually last?
Most families use intensive support for two to six weeks, then taper to a lighter routine as recovery progresses. You can stop or extend at any review point.
Non-medical scope
Cleaneet caregivers do not provide nursing, prescribing, injections, IV, oxygen, wound dressing, catheter changes, restraint, diagnosis, or clinical decision-making. Medication is reminders only.
