Frequently asked questions
Elderly care: your questions answered.
The questions families ask most about elderly care at home.
Will the same caregiver come every day?
We aim for consistency so your parent sees familiar faces. Your supervisor arranges a small, briefed team and covers planned days off, so care never lapses when one person is unavailable.
Can the caregiver give my parent their medication?
Caregivers provide medication reminders and help with the daily routine, but they never administer drugs, give injections, or dress wounds. Anything clinical stays with the doctor or nurse of your choice.
What happens if my parent needs more help over time?
The care plan is reviewed regularly. If needs grow, your supervisor can add hours, bring in specialised support, or move to live-in care, always with your sign-off before anything changes.
How will I know how each day went from abroad?
Every shift produces a structured daily log covering meals, mobility, mood, sleep, and medication reminders. You receive it on WhatsApp, email, SMS, or the Cleaneet app, whichever suits your time zone.
Non-medical scope
Cleaneet caregivers do not provide nursing, prescribing, injections, IV, oxygen, wound dressing, catheter changes, restraint, diagnosis, or clinical decision-making. Medication is reminders only.
